Airlines Catering Case Study

Client’s Business: The client is a group company of one of the international airlines established in Jeddah in 1981. Continued efforts have resulted in the inauguration of four more units located at Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah International airport in Saudi Arabia and Cairo International Airport in Egypt.

Project: Implementation of some of the core offerings including in-flight catering, menu planning, Location Management System(LMS), DIFO’s, Skysales, Golden Lounges, Customer Portals / Customer Interfaces, and integration all the key departmental functions in a modular framework. Provided interfacing, assembly & delivery, for KPI reports across all functions, implementation, training and support etc.

Objectives: The study should be conducted to arrive at a road map of possible areas of cooperation between 7thsense and the client in the above areas.

Solution: Integrating all the key department functions in a modular framework.

Benefit:

  • Brought the System up to date by loading previously stored data into the system.
  • End User benefited from the Training provided which improved their confidence level in using SAP Transactions.
  • Provided extra support in analyzing Business data with SAP.
  • Legacy Data was migrated to SAP data within stipulated time as per the client requirements.
