Project: Implement Hyperion Enterprise 6.0 for the Africa region on Consolidation, Budget and Estimation with multi-dimensional analysis.

Objectives: 7stl should implement the application by collecting the data from SAGE finance application and transfer the data to Hyperion in segment level. Hyperion has to consolidate the data of nearly 10 countries and give a meaningful analysis segment-wise and country-wise. It should handle the currency of each country and the consolidation should happen in Euros. There should be a comparison of the actual with the budget and the estimation.

Solution: 7stl developed its own ETL tool to extract data from SAGE and Transfer to Excel and Load to Hyperion. 7stl implemented the Hyperion Enterprise 6.0 and provided the consolidated report by Region, Segment, and Country. It also provided the reports to compare the Budget and Estimation with Actual.

Benefits:

  • Adhoc Analysis possibility
  • Timely submission of required Reports to the Head Quarters
  • Easy to compare the actual data with budget and estimation
  • Easy and less time consumption for consolidating the data of multiple currencies
  • Easy to analyze the balance sheet and P&L statements by segment-wise and region- wise
