Client’s Business:
The client is one of the largest automobile component manufacturers in India, having operations at multiple locations. Being a part of a largest group, the client employs more than 4000 employees. With major global manufacturers of cars, trucks and tractors making India their sourcing hub for engine blocks the client is poised for a big leap into the export market. HE is the largest jobbing foundry in India with production capacity of 48000 MT of grey iron castings and 3000 MT of aluminum gravity die castings. Also, DCU capacity is increased to 24,000 MT. The company is now setting up a green field plant near Chennai with a capacity of 50000 tons /annum which will go on stream by mid 2007.
Project: The client implemented a standard ERP package, which couldn’t fit into the Human Capital Management Requirements.
Objectives: A versatile and a flexible HCM Solution, which is scalable for the future requirements was the requirement. The objective is to have a solution which will cater to all the Human Resource operations at multiple locations of the company and to have the consolidation at the group level. Solution: A comprehensive HCM Solution which is well connected and integrated having Payroll management, Human Resource Management and Employee Self Service management, which is connected with all the locations and divisions.
